Kent Auction Galleries Ltd. is a Company whose Staff have Over 30 Years Experience Specialising in Antiques, the Fine Arts and Collectables.

Our Aim is to provide the opportunity for your Goods to be sold to those most likely to buy; thereby offering you the chance to receive the best return on your Sale Items. This is achieved only through the knowledge and experience of our Staff and Promotional Campaigns to attract the right buyers.

We hold Sales every other Saturday, every third sale being Antiques & Fine Art (dates as advertised), to include Furniture, Silver, Clocks, Jewellery, Paintings etc; and General Auction Sales of Victorian and Later Effects and Collectables, advertised Internationally, Nationally and Locally along with Viewing times. Telephone, Proxy and Commission Bids are all accepted, as are all major credit cards.

We accept items for Auction at our premises Monday to Thursday 10am-5pm, please call to arrange an appointment for a free valuation (01303 246810); our Sale Location is within easy access of the M20, the Channel Tunnel Depot, and mainline railway - all just 5 minutes away; and the Ferry service to the Continent is only 10 mins. drive. We have a free Valuation Service at our Salerooms for Sale Items, and our Experts can also arrange to visit you at home anywhere in Kent and London/East Sussex.

Key Members of the Team

Saleroom Manager, Expert & Auctioneer: David M. Lancefield

David has been involved with the Antiques and Fine Art business for over thirty years. His expertise and knowledge of the Trade provides Kent Auction Galleries with a first-class Valuer, Cataloguer and General Saleroom Manager. He will generally be the first contact for new Customers, whether they be Buying or Selling. On meeting him they will find his aimiable and patient nature and attention to detail ensures new Customers soon become old Friends.

Office Manager & Auctioneer: Melissa Lancefield

Melissa is responsible for running the Saleroom Office and the IT components of a modern business. Having been brought up in the world of Antiques, and spending her former working life in London offices, she has experience of all the different sides of the business. Her friendly and helpful attitude to Customers contributes to the overall smooth running of what is a very demanding position in this busy Company.

Company Secretary & Promotions Manager: Judith Lancefield

Judith, married to David and Antiques for 32 years, has run her own succesful Company for the last 10 years, and takes the responsibility for Advertising and Public Relations. Her lively and bright disposition adds more feminine charm to the Crew.
