I live a long way from the auction, but would like to place a bid on a few items, is this possible?

Yes, we have clients from all parts of the world and can arrange shipping/postage for any items you purchase in the sale.

I have never been to an auction before, have viewed and really like a few pieces can I leave a bid?

Yes, if you leave the bid maximum you wish to place on an item we will bid on your behalf starting at the lowest possible bid.

tip: always leave a bid of the price you would be annoyed at someone else outbidding you for on an item. Remember someone could get the item you leave a bid on for just £2 more than your final bid.

I am looking for only certain items and the catalogue is very large can I just view the things I am interested in?

Yes, you can either e-mail admin@kentauctiongalleriesltd.co.uk and ask for a list of lots that match you criteria or alternately you can go to the catalogue page you wish to search, click on "Edit" on the Explorer Toolbar, then click on "Find (on this page)" and enter what you wish to find i.e. "pine" this will then take you down the catalogue finding only the lots with pine in the description.

I can't fit the pieces I purchased in my car - do you deliver?

Yes, we can arrange delievery for you at very reasonable cost.

I need a valuation for a Deceased Estate/Divorce/Insurance is this something you do?

Yes, this is something we speacialise in, please call us to arrange.

I need to clear an entire house, there are some items that may be of value but other general items etc. Can you help?

Yes, we take in Antiques, but also general household items, we will clear the house of all saleable items and can organise for the non saleable items to be disposed of, please call our office to arrange.

How much does it cost to come to your auction?

There is no entry fee to view or participate in any of our auctions, nor is there any need to leave a desposit, we do not charge for registration

I have just bought a box full of items and only want a couple of pieces - can I resell the bits I don't want?

If you buy a large Lot and there are items you do not wish to keep, please speak to one of our valuers and they will inform you as to whether it would be worth re-entering the Lot.

I really like one of the Lots in the sale, but it has some damage - will I be able to get it restored?

Due to the length of time the family has been involved in the trade we can organise restoration for you at very resonable prices for jewellery, watches, clocks, ceramics & furniture, please speak to David regarding costs.

I really want to decorate my room in a Retro/Antique/Oriental Design, but am a little nervous regarding terminology
